Poetry

I love writing poems, it’s a bit of an escape, a little something that frees up my mind, so here are some of the ones I like best, each written in under fifteen minutes, to keep it fresh.
Any resemblance to any person; living, dead or unborn, is unavoidable.

Like stars on night’s veil:

Like the stars on night’s veil,

Beautiful as they are,

Would burn you if you weren’t,

Pocha Wala

I moved into a new apartment this week, and my mother’s obsession with perfection, which i seem to have acquired, drove her to make quite a few changes around the the place. A staggering 98% in his HSC Board examinations, is what he managed with nothing but pure, unadulterated desire. I struggle to...

Firstly, The pronoun used to describe india is female, when it could very easily be neutral, which would be less discriminative towards a specific gender. Secondly, Legalising same sex marriage is giving people the rights that they already possess under the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which India, as a country representing itself at the United Nations, has signed.

Article 16 of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights clearly states:
(1) Men and women of full age, without any limitation due to race, nationality or religion, have the right to marry and to found a family. They are entitled to equal rights as to marriage, during marriage and at its dissolution.
(2) Marriage shall be entered into only with the free and full consent of the intending spouses.
(3) The...
